About Me
Our work will be a collaborative effort to understand you — why you think, feel, believe, and behave the way you do — and to help you grow personally, professionally, and relationally. I believe that the mental health symptoms we experience are a manifestation of unresolved conflicts from our past.
Coping strategies, self-help books, or other exercises can result in quick relief, but if you find yourself stuck with the same, or different, symptoms, you may need more. I largely work from a “bottom-up” approach, working to address the symptoms at the root and create self-awareness, curiosity, insight, and long-lasting change.
I specialize in providing psychotherapy to adults and adolescents experiencing relationship, sexuality, and LGBTQ+ issues; anxiety; depression; eating disorders; family conflicts; and developmental or relational trauma.
I approach therapy from a standpoint of non-judgmental curiosity and an antiracist, anti-oppressive lens.
I believe the relationship between therapist and patient is the foundation of progress. Ready to get started? Let's make some progress together — here's how to reach me.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is your approach to therapy?
I'm here to help you make sense of the most important and significant pieces of your life so we can incorporate them into the narrative of who you are. My sessions tend to be unstructured to encourage exploration, curiosity, and insight-building, but I am always an active presence in our work. My approach is validating yet challenging, warm yet accountable. Therapy can be hard, but it can also be joyful, vulnerable, and exciting. Most importantly, it's about creating a relationship with you that is honest, affirming, and reciprocal.
What can I expect from working with you?
Over time, my patients and I identify patterns in their lives that may or may not be serving them. Often these patterns started in early childhood and continue into adulthood, showing up in ways that we may not have previously realized. Together we look for ways to address those patterns, whether by changing them, or learning to accept them. From awareness comes accountability, and therein lies growth.
How much is therapy?
My session rate is $225. However, I never want someone who needs therapy to be put in a situation where they feel financially burdened by it, so I do reserve some time slots in which I see patients for a lower, sliding-scale rate depending on need. Please reach out if this is something you would like to learn more about.
If your insurance offers out-of-network benefits I am happy to provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for out-of-network reimbursement. You can also sign up with an out-of-network reimbursement service like Mentaya, Reimbursify, or Thrizer to submit for and receive reimbursement, which may be faster than submitting directly through your insurance company.
Do you see patients in person?
My office is in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan and I see patients there two days a week. Please let me know when you reach out if you're looking for in-person or virtual therapy sessions.
Are you taking new patients?
Yes I am! Please contact me for the most updated availability and to see if we would be a good fit for working together.
